The Lagos Light Rail Blue Line Project designed by SIYUAN, 27 km long, with 13 stations, is a fully enclosed seamless line.

On December 16, 2009, SIYUAN President He Yibing visited the survey and design team for Lagos Light Rail Project in Nigeria.

On May 24, 2011, CRCC Chairman, Meng Fengchao, visited the under-construction Lagos Light Rail Project by availing the opportunity of attending the President Jonathan’s inauguration ceremony as a member of the Chinese delegation.

On July 26, 2011, the construction of Lagos Light Rail Project formally commenced.
